The brand: Infinity Trunk
Industry: Luxury keepsake storage and fireproof chests
Type: CMF Design
Scope: CMF development to expand the brand’s core product line
A sharp rise in natural disasters drives a proactive mindset to protect precious goods. In an effort to keep belongings within reach rather than in a storage unit, Infinity Trunk offers a furniture-like chest that incorporates fireproofing technology. Goesling Group stepped in to make pieces feel home appropriate through appealing, long lasting materials and colors.
Combining Form & Function
Cultural Landscape
Amid digital burnout, we see a growing trend toward nostalgia and tactility. An appreciation for well-made objects gives physical possessions renewed meaning, while storytelling and the option for customization transform them into expressions of identity.
trending styles
To ensure chests fit seamlessly into the home, thorough research is conducted around the past, present and future of interiors.
Efforts identify Minimal, Midcentury Modern, Natural and Maximal styles to be at the forefront of our conversation.
Each style produces a range of paints, woods, metals and textiles that represent their evolving aesthetic.
Palette creation
Core hues and materials are aggregated from overlapping directions across rising styles. Each palette is designed to span time and style to ensure lasting options for every client.
form refinement
To fit a multitude of interior styles and celebrate nuanced colors/materials, decorative bolts and panels are stripped down to reveal a simplified design.
cmf application
Final direction brings the palettes and form together into a cohesive system. Semi-custom details offer another layer of personalization, allowing the trunk to adapt across a range of interior styles.
