FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What exactly does Goesling Group do?

We’re a multidisciplinary design collective specializing in three overlapping realms: luxury interior design, CMF (color-material-finish) design, and trend/brand forecasting. We create spaces, products, brands, and experiences with intentional detail, bespoke elements, and future-forward thinking. Our project capabilities include:

  • Interior Design, including single-family residences, boutique commercial spaces, and aspirational categories such as high-end multi-family, hospitality, and experiential environments.

  • CMF and future forecasting, specializing in CMF strategy for vendor showrooms, luxury brands, Fortune 500 companies and other curated design initiatives.

What makes Goesling Group’s approach unique?

We combine creative conception and technical execution, while also future-proofing our design decisions through cultural, material, trend lenses (thanks to our forecasting and CMF expertise).

Tell me more about CMF design and why it matters?

CMF = color, material, and finish. It’s the magic framework that supports the overall design vision. The tactile, tonal, and visual details that quietly shape how you experience a space or a product. When we dial into the right combination, it’s not just beautiful – it’s sensorial, cohesive, and future-ready.

How does the CMF process tie into interiors and brand work?

These three elements drive the sensory experience of a space, object, or brand. Our CMF practice helps ensure your design isn’t just pretty on the surface. For you, this means fine selections of materials, finishes, hues and textures that elevate your space or brand — not just decorate it — and stand the test of time.

How does Goesling Group approach trend forecasting?

We don’t chase trends. We study them, and then we predict them. Our team analyzes global movements in fashion, interiors, art, culture, economics, technology, and lifestyle to understand why something feels relevant (or tired). Then we translate those insights into color, material, and design directions that actually mean something. The goal isn’t to predict the future for sport; it’s to help our clients design with intention and longevity.

What happens when interior design, CMF and trend forecasting work together?

This question is at the heart of what makes us unique. Think of us as a creative studio where every part talks to and informs the other. This approach is the difference between “pretty” and purposeful.

Trend forecasting helps us see what’s next: how culture, color, and materials are evolving.

CMF translates those insights into tangible design details: the textures you touch, the tones you live with, the finishes that make everything sing.

Interior design and brand application bring it all to life: creating spaces and experiences that feel grounded in today, yet are designed to last.
