The Space: Fresh, Timeless Kitchen + Bath Remodel

Type: Residential Interior

Photography: Julianne Green Photography

When our client approached us to create a secret basement hangout space honoring the vintage of their 1920s home, we felt it was only fitting to deliver through the lens of the Prohibition era.

A basic laundry room and carpenter-built stairwell lead into a normal basement – guiding you around the corner to a fabricated brick archway and into a swanky living room, new powder room, and bar area.

The space features stained skimmed concrete floors, custom paneled wall treatment, and extruded brass bar shelving in the living area. The powder room walls are clad in hand-glazed emerald tile with a Calacatta gold marble sink console, custom mirror, and luxe gold Brizo fixtures.
